Notorious noughties icon Corey Worthington has shared a hilarious clip to social media revealing how he once 'ripped off' a magazine at the height of his fame.

The party boy,31,posted a video to Instagram on Friday revealing he tricked axed lads mag Zoo Weekly into paying him $2000 for a twenty dollar pair of sunglasses.

'Zoo contacted me like everybody else did and wanted a piece of the party action - My sunglasses at the time. They wanted to buy them for $2000,' he began.

Corey became a global sensation after throwing an out-of-control party at his parents' house in Melbourne in 2008 and the pair of yellow sunglasses he wore at the time became his fashion trademark.

He revealed he loved his trademark sunnies too much to part with them,so he devised a sneaky trick to sell the publication an identical pair.

'Nah,nah,I'll leave these on. I like them,' he replied.

After finding fame in 2008,Corey starred on Big Brother Australia season eight later that year.

In 2018,he returned to reality television on the second season of Australian Ninja Warrior,debuting his new muscular physique.
